General Housekeeping:
Perform general cleaning duties in and around the workshop: keep workshop floor area, wash bay, power tool area and asset spares area clean, and in neat order
Required to do tool checks and keep tool cupboards in neat order where applicable (responsible for “lost” tools) equipment handling in workshop and warehouse
Offload containers
Perform any other tasks as instructed by Workshop Supervisor/Technical Manager
Keep “Training Room” clean and in neat order

Technical Duties:
Stripping, descaling and cleaning of spares (taps, boilers etc.)
Re-assembling of spares and selected equipment Perform pre-delivery inspections on equipment

Administrative Duties:
Fill in consumption sheets with part description and code Complete and hand in R-Calls
Complete and hand in time sheets

Complete and hand in tool checks
Complete overtime sheets Complete leave applications
Complete PDI documents under strict supervision

S.H.E. Responsibilities:
Keep own work area clean, neat and safe at all times
Keep work bench, floor space and shelving uncluttered, and safe
Wear relevant protective clothing
Only use tools trained on and signed off by W.S.
Consider the possible risks of activity’s in the warehouse
Familiarize themselves with emergency procedures & exit points
Good understanding of the risks of equipment, electrical, high temperature, pressurized vessels, sharp edges, lifting techniques, dangerous chemicals etc.

Other:
Work overtime as required from time to time

Experience Required
A minimum of 1 year experience with basic electrical knowledge (220v)
Must be computer literate

Minimum Qualifications Required
A Grade 12 essential

Basic electrical knowledge
Able to communicate effectively in English
Technically orientated
