Packaging Stock Clerk

We are currently recruiting for a Packaging Stock Clerk for a client based in Parow Industria. The ideal candidate must have previous packaging experience within the pharmaceutical background.
Key Performance Areas
Inventory, Issues and returns:

Receives, checks and records packaging issued by the warehouse, as per the F&P report
Signs for receipt of packaging on the Packaging transfer report
Sorts packaging and segregates as per job number
Inspects packaging integrity e.g. no opened/damaged boxes
Initiates rejection process by reporting to Supervisor
Reconciles the quantity of returns of excess packaging after batch completion
Ensures all stock returned to Warehouse reflects original information per status stickers
Returns excess packaging after batch completion to stores by means of pallet jack or trolley
Completes documents on the same day as batch completion
Sorts, records and transfers damaged stock e.g. leaflets, tubes, manually onto a reject record and reports issues to supervisor to arrange for removal of stock

Competencies:

Basic Computer Literacy – Microsoft Office
Record Keeping Skills
Be assertive, show initiative
Communicate clearly and be fully bilingual
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Ability to follow concise instructions, executing work accurately and neatly.
Able-bodied and fit, as this is a physically demanding position
Good hand, eye co-ordinationand speed
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

Grade 12 with Mathematics
1-2 years packaging experience in a similar position within a manufacturing environment
