The purpose of the role:

A great opportunity exists for a well-spoken, positive and energetic young individual, to provide Personal Assistance and business administrative support to 2 busy entrepreneurs in their own businesses who are husband and wife with 2 kids and a dog! The role is based at their office mainly, based in Claremont and you will have the use of the company car to run errands.



What will you be doing in this role?



Business Support:

Accounts Administration
Complete the accounts administration for submission to the Accountant such as monthly expenses, receipts, petty cash, payments, bank reconciliations, preparation for VAT and other SARS submission etc. Liaison with the Accountant.

Property Administration
Complete UK properties administration and monitor leases, draw up new lease documents, arrange payments, arrange and keep track of maintenance requirements, liaise with leasing agents and tenants etc.
General PA and secretarial function
Diary management
Travel arrangements for international and local travel
Email monitoring
Correspondence
Sourcing products
E-commerce administration support
Online sales monitoring
Stock control and weekly stock reporting
Invoicing and delivery planning
Client support


Personal Support:

Assist with all private matters including
Personal Travel administration
Personal administration – running of the home
Manage budgets and accounts
Travel overseas with family as required
Home maintenance requirements and supervision of the household staff
Assist with recruitment and management of household staff
Personal shopping
Collect children from school and drive them to extra-mural activities
Manage children’s diaries, appointments and extra-murals
General ad-hoc duties




What you need to be successful in this role?



Grade 12 with some post matric qualification
At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role supporting business owners and doing personal PA support
Highly computer literate (completion of a computer skills training course preferable)
Valid car license and must be able to travel to Claremont and use company car
Clear ITC and no criminal record
Valid passport, and happy to travel
Ability to speak a foreign language advantageous
Must love kids, variety, multi-tasking and be very well organized
