Santam's Motor Claims department has a position available for a Team Manager: Claims Relationship Manager. The position will be based in Port Elizabeth.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Claims Relationship Managers, costs and providing client satisfaction by monitoring targets, deadlines and compliance to service level agreements.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

Managing enquiries and escalations of claims and conduct performance appraisals for direct reports.
Responsible for client care during the lifetime of the claim and ensure that complaints are addressed and resolved timeously and amicably.

Responsible for the management of the MBR performance for the region and to ensure that the desired results are achieved.
Compiling management information, collating and evaluation of the same and to put measures in place to achieve the agreed goals supporting the national motor strategy.
Handling of performance related issues and disciplinary matters and monitoring performance.
Monitoring and maintaining broker relations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Matric/ Grade 12.
Panel beating or motor mechanic qualification or equivalent experience in the motor industry.
Relevant Industry/short-term insurance related qualification.
At least 5 years' experience in Motor Assessing.
At least 3 years' experience in managing a team or equivalent.
Motor adjustment experience with proven experience of motor panel beating or stolen vehicle investigations.
Performance management experience.
People management experience.
