Duties and responsibilities:

Ensure that the company complies with all existing state and labour legislation and government reporting in relation to EEA, SDA, BCEA, WCA and so forth
Tracks and posts EEA data and file reports
Management of the recruitment and selection process
Assist with development and amendment of Human Resource Policies and Procedures
Recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer โ€“ employee relationship and maintain high level of employee morale and motivation
Counsels managers on employment issues to ensure that fair employment practices are exercised
Participates in the conduct of investigations when employee complaints or concerns have been brought forth
Advises managers and supervisors about the steps in the progressive discipline system of the company
Minimum Requirement:

Grade 12 with a Human Resource / Industrial Psychology Tertiary Qualification
Minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ experience within Human Resource Department in relevant role
Good communication skills at all levels (written / spoken)
Automotive / manufacturing background would be advantageous
High level of confidentiality a must
Drivers licence and own vehicle
