The Implementation and Support Consultant reports to the Application Services Manager and provides support and implementation
assistance to users of the companies application services.
?Main objective of role:
To provide continuous feedback to requesters so that service levels are optimised, by ensuring that any support tickets raised via the service desk are closed. The Implementation and Support Consultant will be a key collaborator and communicator between the various Application Consultants and the requester.
Ensure that service levels are maintained and that relevant Principals are satisfied with the companies service delivery.
Maintain consistent communication with relevant Principals and effectively manage their expectations.
Support and assist Principals in the efficient use of the ERP system and supporting services.
Perform administration tasks in the ERP system.
Assist team members with support queries.
?Typical daily tasks may include the following:
PPlay sync checks
Backup support (Daily tasks)
Check batch job failures
Check Desktop EDI
Check web service interfaces
Check POS and resolve any issues
Security
New users (workflow initiation and user setup)
User access updates (requests via Jira and workflow)
.Net A menu mapping
User deletions (workflow initiation and user setup)
Velocity setup and security
Support
General support in areas of knowledge (i.e. DO, GRS, payment applications, integrity issues, etc.)
Order management
Outbound processes
Reporting
EDI β new interface setups and support
Master data
System errors (911, CIM, etc.)
Management of new development requests and QCβing thereof
Unsubscribes and management of mailing lists
Planned and adhoc training for external and internal users
Master data
Setup of agents/reps
Setup of sites
Setup and roll out of items
Menu roll outs
.Net browse roll outs
Setup of batch jobs and mailing lists
Control file, setup and NDD uploads

Must have a relevant tertiary qualification from a reputable academic institution.
