Senior support engineer sccm

SPECIFICATION

A Business Solution company is currently seeking the skill and expertise of a Senior Support Engineer- SCCM. Reporting to the Technical Manager, this role is responsible for providing onsite server infrastructure support.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Provide day to day operational support including but not limited to:

SCCM
Active Directory
NPS
DHCP
DNS
Office 365

Handle technical escalation to the Europe based parent company.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualification Requirements:

Matric /Grade 12 Essential
MCSE (minimum 2012)
Certification / Experience in the following areas will be beneficial:

Altiris
Veeam
VMware
Citrix
SCCM
SCVMM
SCOM
Linux
Cloud services
Sharepoint


Experience and Knowledge of the following items (5+ years):

Microsoft Server Operating System Support – All Server platforms
Microsoft Exchange
Active Directory
File and Print services including DFS
Personal Competencies:

Communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Afrikaans
Interpersonal and relationship management skills
Ability to perform under pressure
Planning and organizing skills
Analytical skills
Attention to detail (accuracy)
Continuous improvement mind-set
The ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
