SALES REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR - EASTERN CAPE

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Sales Representative for PlusNet/Geotex in Randfontein for the Agricultural Sector. This position will be based in the Eastern Cape and will report directly to the National Sales Manager.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the commercial relationships with existing and new strategic customers
Interaction with customers to educate them about PlusNet/Geotex specialised product offering
Maintain and maximize the revenue and profit of each product offering to achieve the companyβs Sales budgets
Conduct market analysis and provide regular high-level reporting on market trends and plans to remain competitive
Ensure that planning; forecasting and budgeting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes employed by the company
Progressively manage an opportunity pipeline, closing all possible opportunities to achieve the Sales Budget
Provision of detailed information and reports on a monthly and as when required basis
Advising on overall market trends and the activities of competitors in the marketplace
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A relevant sales qualification is essential
An understanding of the citrus industry will be an advantage
A proven track record in similar duties and responsibilities
Valid Driverβs Licence
Commercial, Hardware and Agricultural experience
