Sales assistant V&A Waterfront

We are looking for a
vibrant, dynamic, honest and responsible individual who has a passion for
sales. You would need a bubbly, outward going personality, together with great
communication skills and a real focus on providing the best possible customer
service. Our kiosk is in the V&A Waterfront.

Requirements: 1. Matric certificate or equivalent2. Minimum 2 years retail sales experience.You should have a friendly and engaging personality, comfortable working
with members of the public, able to work on your own as well as part of a
team. You should be of smart appearance and articulate. You will be
required to work V&A Waterfront trading hours. You
will be required to work 12 hours shift sometimes if the situation arises.

The daily duties will

include, but not limited to:
1. Greeting and assist
customers.

2. Daily stock control.
3. Assisting clients to find the goods and products they are looking for.
4. Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
5. Replenishing stock.
6. Reporting discrepancies to the Supervisor/Manager.
7. Balancing cash float.
8. Keeping the store tidy and clean at all times, general housekeeping.
9. Working with established guidelines, policies and procedures.
10. Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
11. Be vigilant at all times and ensure security of the store and being on the
lookout for fraudulent credit cards and shoplifters.
12. Receiving and storing the deliver of large volumes of stock.
13. Keeping up to date with current trends and promotions.

Basic Salary + 5% commissions for every sale you make. Monthly take home salary
between R4500 and R9000 a month.
