Receptionist (Full-time) position needed for busy multidisciplinary practice:

A full-time permanent receptionist position is available at the Child Wellness Centre in Port Elizabeth. The Child Wellness Centre is a multidisciplinary practice consisting of psychologists, social workers, registered counselor and pregnancy and lactation consultant and provides services to children, adolescents and adults.


Must submit CV and cover letter

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

Answering incoming telephone calls in a timely and professional manner.
Scheduling appointments, maintaining & updating calendars of therapists.
Welcoming and interacting with clients/visitors in a warm and professional manner, and making coffee/ tea for clients.
Collecting, distributing and preparing correspondence, mail, messages and courier deliveries.
Receive payments, record receipts for services and handle and reconcile petty cash expenses.

Light cleaning of the practice and therapy rooms as is needed
Monitoring and purchasing of stock for practice.
Performing basic clerical duties, such as printing documents, photocopying, and preparing new client forms/checking completed forms for accuracy, scanning documents etc.
Assisting with Admin and HR tasks as needed.
Assist in preparations for meetings, luncheons, events and special occasions
Supervise children in waiting room area if needed
Assisting the director of the practice as is needed
Requirements:

Must have a friendly and welcoming personality
Professional appearance and telephone manner
Positive attitude and warm/engaging manner of interaction with clients
Be good with children
Comfortable working with a variety of people
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and highly organized
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure as well as be a team player
Requires ability to maintain confidentiality
Must be computer literate (MS Outlook, Word and Excel)
Be efficient and conscientious, pay fine attention to detail and flexible
Trust worthy, hard-working and reliable
Working hours: 8h15-17h15
