Lionels Vet Supplies, a wholesaler in the agri-industry, are looking to recruit a Purchasing Clerk for their operations based in Parow Industria.
To assist the buyers in their daily buying functions including, but not limited to, getting quotations, placing orders, expediting orders, communication with suppliers, administrative support, maintaining of stock items on Evolution etc.;
To efficient and timeously complete various clerical tasks related to the inward and outward movement of goods, supplies and materials;
To add value to distribution by comparing prices, specifications and delivery dates of suppliers.
To perform clerical functions related to the maintaining of data on Evolution.
Follow the administration and document flow process related to the purchasing procedures
Expediting - contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
Book stock received into Evolution (when required)
Assist with optimising stock levels at all branches
Liaise with sales team on stock availability for open sales orders
Certificate/diploma in Purchasing/Procurement

Must be computer literate (MS Office suite, Evolution or similiar stock management software)

Good communicator – verbal and written

2-3 Years’ experience.

Salary will be market-related, based on experience and qualifications.
