To manage the development of Fastener, Tool & Equipment products lines. The role will encompass but not be limited to the market development and support of: All Fastener & Tool Product Lines, directly and indirectly with existing and prospective customers. This includes branch assisted calls as well as cold calling, market research, sales, sales projections, stock forecasting & profiling.
The incumbent will in future, progress into other specific industry sector products, dependent on targets achieved and as additional opportunities become available or are identified. Providing sales, training and technical support to the branch and customer network.
Technical & Commercial support of the predetermined F, T & E products
Co-ordinate and drive Key Account action plans in support of branch network
Manage relationships with Key Accounts & Target Customers as well as develop other Product Support people wrt Product & Market intelligence
Achieve monthly and annual targets as agreed
Develop, Implement and Measure promotional strategies
Engage with Marketing Department in support of editorials and marketing drives
Assist with the design and compilation of product specific catalogues & brochures
Interaction with suppliers to negotiate specials, develop market strategies and evaluate sales strategies
Collaborate with Training Department on the development of training material
Pricing
Influence Price parameters for each product segment based on market intelligence including discount parameters
Evaluate and measure the effects of annual price increases
Ensure healthy margins by reviewing monthly
Review Finance report on Margins as report back on queries
Review monthly price surveys from Sales Teams and other sources to ensure on par with competitors
Cycle Meetings
Network with Sales Teams
Handle queries / suggestions raised
Communicate on specified suppliers
Complete required CRM
Weekly Management Reports โ Highs & Lows
