Purpose of the Role

As the channel marketing manager you will be responsible for growing the channel and partner base of DataProphet with innovative strategies and go to market plans. This role calls for a expert lead/demand generation activities within a channel environment. Fluency in funnel metrics and analysis and the ability to glean insights from reporting is critical. Supporting the channel with marketing and education tools will be essential. Building the channel relationships will require strong interpersonal and sales influencing abilities with a high attention to detail and process.

Role and Responsibilities

Develop, execute and inspect geographic channel campaigns in recruiting, nurture and grow new and existing channel partners

Recruit channel partners via targeted marketing campaigns including digital search, programmatic, PR, events and mailers

Build the lead pipeline through selective marketing campaigns with the channel partners

Ensure the growth of partner targets are forecasted and met

Ensure that the target of MQL’s to SQL’s are met in channel

Manage the channel campaigns with an eye on investing in great partnerships with ideas that produce results

Campaign definition, design and execution

Event /activity design, selection, planning and execution

Content syndication, webinar and webcast

Familiarity and comfort with both CRM and marketing automation tools

Channel recruitment
Accountable for and ensuring the flow of leads to support the sales goals

Create a cadence of regular reporting to track performance and measure ROI, and adjust as needed

Be a key conduit of information between sales, marketing and channel

Enable a channel sell through marketing strategy to capitalise on lead generation through the channel

Acquisition to conversion of leads

Develop supporting marketing assets to drive lead acquisition

Develop supporting mailer assets for channel to use

Develop education program for channel partners

Mentor channel partners to succeed in achieving business targets

Automation and CRM

Develop and implement Partner Interactive Marketing suite enabling access to DataProphet’s contents

Work closely with digital marketing to optimise campaigns to recruit channel partners and lead generation programs with partners
Manage channel mailer program calendar with associate content plan



A Business Science / BComm / Finance / Stats / Marketing Degree and/or CIMA qualification
Digital marketing certification: Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter
5+ years of B2B marketing experience, with heavy focus in demand/lead generation within a channel environment


Campaign and CRM management knowledge
Event /activity design, selection, planning and execution
Content syndication, webinar and webcast knowledge
