A vacancy has arisen for a detail focused and numerate Invoicing Officer.

Personable with strong communication abilities in order to interact with vendors and customers

Numerate; strong Microsoft Excel skills, good knowledge of Word and Outlook
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, telephone and face to face).
Works well as a team member; working with different business areas
Methodical and organised
Ability to recognise deadlines and tracks work to meet these
Experience in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
Key Responsibilities/ Principal Tasks:
Generate complete, accurate, and timely invoices
Correct entries on invoices for discrepancies in prices, quantity of goods, and total amount
Collect returned goods from clients and adjust the amount in the invoices
Index clients' database, update contracts, and add new customer account
Maintain records of invoices posted, payment collected, and change in address of clients
Assist with organising and maintaining invoice files
Contact clients and confirm receipt of invoices and ask for payment
Coordinate with the logistics department and ensure goods are dispatch in a timely manner
Communicate with vendors, clients and the account manager to resolve inaccuracies
