Credit Controller

💰Salary	R16 500 - R18 000 a month

Key Responsibilities: ;

Maintain daily registers and controls.
Prepare and capture journals and transactions.
Notify superior of any suspicious or potentially fraudulent payments.
Prepare and complete reconciliations of customer accounts.
Verify and follow up on invoices, statements and payments and ensure the timeous collection of outstanding / arrear accounts in accordance with collection procedures.
Report on bad debt and the recovery there of.
Maintain an efficient filing system.
Monitor the age analysis of debts and perform continous risk analysis.
Ensure payments are received, allocated and processed.
Attend to queries as escalated by the debtors clerks.
To liaise and work effectively with the advertising department.
May be required to liaise with attorneys with regards to legal accounts.

May be required to perform additional ad hoc administrative duties
Requirements.;

Grade 12.
Relevant Certificate / Diploma in Credit Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or closely related.
At least 2 years\ experience in Debtor\'s Administration.
Proficiency in relevant software packages and applications.
General Knowledge of Accounting.
