Who are we?

The Sanlam Personal Finance (SPF) cluster is responsible for Sanlam’s retail business in South Africa. SPF provides clients across different market segments (entry-level, middle-income, affluent, professional market and business owners) with a comprehensive range of appropriate and competitive financial solutions. These include traditional life insurance risk and savings products, investment, retirement, health and fiduciary services. Designed to facilitate long-term wealth creation, protection and niche financing, these solutions are engineered around client needs.


What will you do?


Responsible for a team of receptionists/switchboard operators in a reception/switchboard area. Ensures that the telephonists maintain the highest standards when operating the switchboard and receiving guests at reception.




What will make you successful in this role?

Outputs :

Customer care (receive of and personal interaction with high profile business clients) at both Main Reception and Executive Reception counters.
Handling of general enquiries.
Rendering of excellent client service.
Effective communication, listening, understanding and interpreting to meet clients’ requirements.
Operational responsibilities (housekeeping and applying of safety/security measurements).
Administrative responsibilities (e-mail, room reservations and incoming/outgoing mail).
Qualifications :

Grade 12
Experience :

3 – 6 years frontline experience in a corporate environment.
Knowledge :

Business ethics
Protocol and telephone etiquette
Time management strategies
Understanding of cultural diversity
Broad understanding of Sanlam as a business, its products, services and marketing initiatives.
Exposure to electronic mail and communication systems.
Please note working shifts and an outstanding attendance record will be a requirement.



Qualification and Experience


More than 6 years related experience.
