Branch Manager - Flexible Packaging

A National Flexible Manufacturing Company is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to run their Cape Town Branch.

Desired profile of the candidate should have 4-8 years of sales experience in Flexible / packaging Industry with good understanding of the packaging industry, excellent client relationship management ability, leadership quality, communication skills, result orientation

Managing business, distributors and leading, motivating and developing sales team, developing and implementing markets according to Strategic Business Unit strategies.

Ensuring on-going market intelligence in terms of market demand etc.
Implementation and regular review of possible improvements to business processes, controlling all branch sales.
Ensuring that the agreed targets concerning market share, cost of sales, sales turnover as well as variable gross margins/results are being achieved, by providing effective implementation and implementation control of customer and market concepts. Identifying market potentials and introducing measures for it.
Overseeing annual sales strategy for the branch with quarterly allocation of individual customer strategies and progress reports.
Developing business plans, target accounts, target products and implementation thereof.
Involved with quarterly executive management team meetings to analyze financials, set budgets, forecasted expenditure and the cost control thereof.
Driving and managing the entire sales process, targeting products and identifying client needs, negotiating deals and closing.
Involved in and responsible for coordinating the sales to purchasing, distribution and warehousing, with emphasis on volumes and the development of new customers and products while maintaining the existing customer base.

Previous business / sales management experience is essential.
Logistics qualification
A relevant tertiary qualification and / or extensive senior sales experience is essential.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Strong team player with the ability to build and foster relationships.
Excellent customer service and quality focus.
High degree of professionalism and conduct at all times.
Demonstrated track record of delivering results
