About the Position

Space Planner x2: Longlife

Main Purpose

Effectively working, to achieve the Foods Strategy, by implementing the Foods vision in the form of a planogram. Ensuring planograms are proportionally displayed according to category strategy

Key Responsibilities

Creating and maintaining signed off planograms as per team strategy.
Develop planogram according to Launch Calendar or seasonal planogram
Capacity analysis proportionate to product performance.
Attend planogram sign off.

Ensure the correct new lines are on the correct planogram clusters.
Update the Shelf Edge Labels, images, and dimensions of new lines.
Receive Gold Seal Samples of New Lines prior to launch.
Action the Store Development Workbook every week in an accurate and timeous manner.
Analysis for micro space
Collaborate with the assortment planner regarding space outcomes
Building effective relations with stakeholders
Participate in the Range Review Process, and attend team meetings.
Provide feedback from team meetings in weekly assortment & space meeting (re new products, extensions & reductions, space issues, layout changes etc).
Analyse space to ensure that your planogram is profitable and present planograms in the Range review
Visit stores with team members for feedback on planogram execution.
Key Competencies

Relevant Commercial / Retail degree / diploma
Computer literate with good Microsoft Excel skills
2-3 years of FMCG experience
Proactive, with good problem solving skills
Team player with ability to work well under pressure
Work effectively in a pressurised and continuously changing environment
Ability to adapt in a FMCG environment
Good communication skills.
Analytical ability advantageous
