An opportunity exists for a self-driven individual to join Business Development team within Pragma Africa. You'll be part of a vibrant Sales and CRM team spread across Pragma world offices, responsible for identifying and executing sales opportunities and client retention strategies.
Engineering diploma: Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical/Civil
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy Management
1. Ensure clear understanding of Group strategy.
2. Implementation of the company/department's strategy.
3. Ensure all decisions / actions are in line with strategy.
4. Support transformation, diversity, EE and BEE initiatives
5.Achieve specific objectives as defined in the BSC for the financial year
Business Management
1. Adherence to all group procedures / brand standards
2. Implement company specific procedures
3. Assist with compiling budget, monthly financial control
4. Participate in management meeting
5. Drive own training and development
6. Participate in employee engagement
7. Compliance to ERP procedures
8. Ensure that company values are lived by self
Business Development
1. Act as true Pragma ambassador (brand, professionalism).
2. High-level marketing / Building the Brand
3. Adhere to the sales process and templates
4. Drive new sales at new clients
5. Drive on-sales and new sales at existing clients
6. Feedback is given to R&D on competitors' offerings
7. Feedback is given to R&D on market trends and needs
8. Feedback is given to Operations on competitors' offerings
9. Feedback is given to Operations on market trends and needs
Project Management
1. Ensure successful implementation of projects
Client Relationship Management
1. Adherence to the CRM business process and system
2. Build long term relationship with Clients
3. Assist in resolving issues arising at Clients
4. Assist in designing the big picture solution and writing proposals in support
of operating companies
5. Support and shape new product development
HSSE
1. Accept full responsibility for compliance to all general HSSE requirements as
stipulated in the Pragma employee "HSSE Code of Conduct".
2. Demonstrate support for the Pragma commitment and policy on HSSE
(Making goal zero personal).
3. Participate in support of the 4 Golden Principles (comply, intervene, respect
and re-use).
4. Accept and take full responsibility for any specific HSSE role that Pragma
might require (formal appointment in writing)
