Short Term Insurance Broker β Job Spec
Job Description:
Generate access to potential short term insurance markets
Build and maintain internal and external relationships which includes insurers, clients and lead providers
Build rapport and sell products to clients telephonically as well as in person
Engage with potential clients and obtain an in-depth understanding of their short term insurance needs
Match customers need to suitable products available at your disposal
Convince clients to make use of the recommended products and services
Provide ongoing service and support to your client base
Retention of existing business including renewal discussions
Ensure compliance and procedural requirements are met at all times
Secure a comfortable income through the successful conversion of opportunities
Matric Certificate + relevant FAIS credits / qualification
Own reliable vehicle & valid driverβs license, laptop and cellular phone
Minimum 2 years Short Term (Commercial, Marine or other specialist) broking or sales experience
Individual must be
a self-starter with an entrepreneurial flair
able to work under pressure
independent yet able to work well within a team
Remuneration Summary:
Monthly Performance Bonus:
Payable monthly on attainment of monthly new income targets
Commercial lines broker bonuses up to R15, 000
Personal lines broker bonuses up to R8, 000
Earning potential:
Unlimited
