The candidate will report to the Manager: Energy and Field Services. The candidate’s primary function will be to ensure effective implementation and management of the SHEQ processes and systems in the Energy Management and Field Services Departments to limit risk exposure, protect employees, environment, assets and the company image. The successful candidate will be based at our Bellville Office and must be willing to travel to various site.

The applicant’s primary functions will be to perform:

Audit of existing safety, health environment and quality systems and procedures
Ensure continual improvement and implementation of systems
After system development, assign and manage “ownership” by effective implementation of activities and systems
Perform follow up audits and training to ensure the effective use of systems
Drafting safety files for site operation, service and repairs.
Qualifications

ND Safety Management (or equivalent)

IOSM Membership advantageous
Valid driver’s licence
SAMTRAC or equivalent
Experience

Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment
Incident Investigation (RCAT)
Experience in SHEQ management for at least 5 years
SHEQ – Auditing, Systems Implementation (ISO9001,NOSA, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001)
Legislation (OHSAct, PER, NEMA, COID)
Construction / Electrical Service / Plant Operation
OHS Act Construction Regulations
Registered with South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP)
