Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of kitchen equipment. They are seeking a SALES REPRESENTATIVE with experience selling products to the Hospitality industry (Hotels, Restaurants). The ideal candidate would be passionate about sales, have a bubbly personality and the ability to engage on all levels within the hospitality trade. Our client is seeking an assertive and tenacious individual who is seeking to build a career in sales.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Matric / Grade 12 Certificate
Sales or Marketing Diploma, Degree OR highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales – backed by sound references
Experience and background within hospitality such as Hotel, Restaurant and Kitchen
Possess a clear understanding of the hospitality environment
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
Prioritising, time management and organisational skills

Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Excellent business written and verbal communication skills – specifically English
Computer literate - Excel, Word. Knowledge of an ERP system (enterprise resource planning) advantageous
Ability to take clear instruction and provide comprehensive feedback
Ability to work as part of a team and without supervision
Driver’s license and own reliable transport
Must be willing to travel
DUTIES

Servicing existing clients (Hotels, Restaurants and Hospitality industry)
Responsible for obtaining orders, services and establish new accounts
Planning and organising daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade aspects
Cold calling on all boutique hotels, cookery schools and restaurants
Conducting presentations and written reports as required
Administrative duties
