Functions / responsibilities:
To play a proactive role in the sensible procurement & management of inventory such that sales opportunities & resultant profits are maximised for each Rand invested (GMROI) & for each square metre of available selling space
Implement company strategy, policies & procedures
Achievement of agreed budgets & targets
Maintain operational standards
Manage the auto-replenishment system, sanction all STOs & vet all orders.
Conduct ongoing research & analysis
Satisfy internal & external customers
Staff management
Requirements:
Minimum of grade 12 ( relevant tertiary qualification an advantage)

Commercial orientation demonstrating understanding and applications of retail principlesProactively developing customer relationships by making efforts to listen to and understand the customer, anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs, giving high priority to customer satisfaction
Organizational awareness by demonstrating knowledge of policy, procedures and discipline
Team player by working effectively with a team and peers to accomplish organizational goals
Display of array of managerial skills required to achieve department objectives
Demonstrate planning, organizing and control skills by establishing course of action for self and others to accomplish specific goals
Demonstrating energy by consistently maintaining a high productivity level
Drive showing self motivation
Computer literacy in the following computer applications:
o Outlook
o MS Word
o Excel
o SAP
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Experience:
Sales: 5 years (Preferred)
Management: 3 years (Preferred)
