JOB PURPOSE
DUTIES/TASKS
· Identify and pursue sales opportunities within ICT / Telecoms / mobile / data / device / IOT
· Engaging with new and existing customer with a view to customer satisfaction and revenue growth
· Grow Smartcom’s revenue line item
· Meet revenue and volume targets
· Manage and complete paperwork according to partner requirements to facilitate activations / upgrades etc
· Relationship building with account managers, key Vodacom departments etc to assist the sales process
· Actively market Smartcom
· Contribute innovative ideas/ suggestions
· Meeting management requests and deadlines for targets and reporting
SECTION C: JOB SPECIFICATION
· Matric minimum requirement
· Tertiary education an advantage
· ICT industry courses an advantage
· Solid track record of sales success
· 2 – 5 years minimum experience in ICT/Mobile/Data/ device industry
· Professional attitude and look
· Presentation skills fit for board level
· Analytical, creative thinking and problem solving skills
· Driven to reach targets
· Fun and self-motivated
· Clear, concise and accurate
· Ability to engage with customers on all organisational levels
· Friendly, helpful, persuasive
· High level of numeric skills
· Excellent business writing and reporting skills
· Knowledge and passion for the ICT industry and an understanding of the products
· Accurate, attention to detail
· Work independently and/or as part of a team
· Communicate fluently in English (one other an advantage)
