Position Overview/Purpose
Sales coordinator needs to take responsibility for the implementation and execution of the sales strategy and ensure that agreed personal and sales team business objectives and performance targets are achieved and exceeded.
Essential Job Functions
Business Development
Main Activities:
Adhere to and ensure the IMS process and procedures are followed throughout the departments.
Understand & know the company Quality, Health & Safety Policies;
Understand & know the company Objectives & Targets (Gear, Training & Projects).
5.4 Organizational Roles, Responsibilities and Authority (ISO 9001:2015 Clause 5.3)
Accepts responsibility and authority for:
1.
Ensuring that the management system conforms to applicable standards;
2.
Ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs;
3.
Reporting on the performance of the management system;
4.
Providing opportunities for improvement for the management system;
5.
Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization;
6.
Ensuring that the integrity of the management system is maintained when changes are planned and implemented.

Implementation and delivery of the Sales Strategy and associated Sales Force Business Plan.
Identifies, qualifies, assists, and manages the closing of new business, driven by the promotion of integrated solutions.
Constantly scanning the environment for growth potential and pursuing these opportunities with tenacity.
Defines criteria for the scope, risk and profitability of engagements.
Responsible for quoting and preparation of tenders to existing and new customers achieving as higher a margin service as the market will permit.
Accountable for the financial success and customer satisfaction of engagements under your direction.
To continually review and improve gross margin profitability, security and operational management capability of all Sector business in South Africa.
Key Account Management and development of new business
Main Activities:
Research industry and market. Analyze competition. Complete customer needs assessment to identify and evaluate specific business opportunities.
Identify and acquire customers currently serviced by competitors.
Develop and implement Key Account Management Plans in line with sales targets.
Develop lasting relationships based on mutual respect with customerโs decision makers. Significantly influence customer satisfaction with knowledge of industry, ability to articulate solution value, and service delivery.
Ensure secure, safe, efficient and customer- oriented handling of the operations and customer service.
Adherence to local, national and international legislation, policies and procedures.
Present marketing materials, proposals, and deliverables to customers with confidence.
Participate actively in industry conferences or within one or more knowledge networks.
Assist in the development of the annual budget and business plan for the sector.
Understand and develop logical arguments on the business impact of implementing future strategies.
Be passionate about companiesโ capabilities and opportunities for impacting total integrated solutions for the industry.

To develop and achieve outstanding quality customer service.
Maintain positive customer experiences when interfacing.
Identify, build, and manage long-term relationships with customers and strategic partners; both existing and potential ones.

To leveraged appropriate specialists as effective selling resources when an opportunity is identified.
Provide active support where required cross-functionally
Customer retention and corporate account management
Monitor relationship with designated top customers, scheduling regular visits to ascertain customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular customer satisfaction surveys.
Assist with achieving customer retention targets and KPIโs

Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
