The company’s experienced design team consists amongst other Italian, Swiss, British, Chinese and Greek top designers, who work together for the presentation of complete jewellery, watches and accessories collections. The collection’s highlight is the premium Kk Collection, which includes unique and limited edition jewellery and accessories pieces, inspired and supervised by Mrs. Ketty Koutsolioutsos. Our designer’s goal is not only to maintain a fashion orientation complementing the prevalent fashion trends, but also to set them, translating fashion in the daily life and offering special, characteristic fashion tips, with the signature of Folli Follie.

We are looking for highly experienced Sales Assistants with UPMARKET Jewellery accessory experience in our Canal Walk Shopping Centre Store in Cape Town. Experience is required in the Retail industry, ESPECIALLY IN THE JEWELLERY INDUSTRY. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE JEWELLERY EXPERIENCE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Reach and maintain the high standards of customer service and sales productivity.
Maintain the existing customer base and develop new customers by keeping accurate and detailed customer records and communicating with customers when necessary.
To monitor individual and store daily, weekly and monthly sales records and strive to reach and exceed these targets.
Ensure availability of merchandise and services by ordering stock from head office and auctioning inter branch transfers when required.
Identifying current and future customer requirements by establishing a rapport with potential and actual customers and offering the highest levels of customer service.
Monitoring pricing and discount policies daily by reviewing price structures sent by head office and obtaining the necessary authorizations wherever the Company policy may require it

 

 
Maintaining the stability and reputation of the Company by complying with all legal requirements.
Making sure the store is properly merchandised, neat and clean at all times.
Color co-ordination must be appealing and attract attention.
The concept must be understood and merchandizing stories must be put together.
Displays must be strong in order to sell.
All staff members are expected to ensure that finishing touches such as price tags being tucked away are being auctioned.
All sales staff members are responsible for ensuring stock is rotated regularly to prevent stock loss due to fading.
The Employee must follow all before store opening and after store closing procedures.
This includes administrative, cleaning, stock room and weekly spring cleaning duties.
Reporting any maintenance issues within the store to your Store Manager or head office timorously.
Securing merchandise by implementing the security systems and measures dictated by the company as well as doing regular and accurate stock counts as per company policy.
To watch for and prevent shop lifting.
Maintaining a harmonious, healthy and productive working environment.
Assisting and working together with all staff members to ensure targets are reached.
Knowing the selling points, features, styles, colors, sizes and fit of all merchandise.
Following all operational and personnel policies and procedures.
Maintaining good and positive communication with head office, line managers as well as fellow staff members.
Provide the highest standards of after sales service.
Complying with the Company’s dress code.
EXPERIENCE

Desired education Matric and any courses on sales and motivation e.g. Dale Carnegie, IMM etc. Minimum Matric
Minimum 8 Years Fashion Retail (JEWELLERY) Experience
Preferably must reside within vicinity of target store (Menlyn)
Well-presented and stylish
Proven track record of both sales and management ability
Over the age of 30
Must be comfortable with retail working hours (cover Public Holidays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays most important)
Must have a passion for retail
BASIC SALARY

Market Related Basic Salary plus Commission highly competitive to the market (negotiable based upon age and experience)
