We are looking for a Running Specialist, who is passionate about Retail, is sales and target driven, has good business sense and is committed to exceeding customer service.

The successful applicant must be comfortable with working in a fast paced environment that is results-oriented and where performance is tied to turnover goals.

Your key areas of responsibility will include:

Being an ambassador for our brand and offering amazing Customer experience.
Exceed Customer expectations by identifying and providing them with the best possible running product solutions.
Actively keeping track of sales performance against target.
Selling a diverse product range and keeping up to date with the latest running footwear and gear trends.
Searching out opportunities for making new sales
Assist with replenishing of stock to ensure the store is ready for our customers at all times.

Must haves:
A Matric Certificate (Essential)
Minimum 1-2+ years relevant sales experience
Passionate about retail and demonstrate expert understanding of running products (Essential)
Keen interest in fitness and adopting running as a sport/or is a runner
Must have competed in running races/ran competitively
Sales driven and service focused
Ability to thrive under pressure and work well within a team
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business and will require weekends and evening shifts.

Preference will be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
