Roadside Technician-Europ Assistance

Qualifications/attributes/ competencies and experience

Matric
Technical qualification - N3; Mechanical (Advantageous)
2 to 3 years of mechanical /working experience in an automotive industry
Valid Driver's Licence
Land Rover knowledge and / or Experience (Advantageous)
Roadside assistance experience (Advantageous)
Fluent in English
Mechanical knowledge: Fuel systems, Automatic and Manual Transmission and
Electrical
Knowledge/ Skills and Abilities

Good telephonic and written communication skills

Customer service orientated
Initiative, can-do attitude will do whatever it takes to achieve success and ensure customer is assisted
Ability to work independently, self-starter but still able to function as part of a team
Problem solving approach with high service and customer orientation
Ability to handle pressure
Able to work shifts (including public holidays, weekends and nights)
Flexible
Assertiveness combined with good judgement
Roles& Responsibilities

Ensure all job cards are kept up-to-date and maintained accurately
Ensure that a full paper trail is kept for parts and services rendered and invoices submitted to the client timeously
administrator/SP Manager within the stipulated deadline
Ensure that all stock is replenished in a timeous manner
Ensure that all safety procedures are adhered to in the office and on the road
Ensure that all calls are logged and closed before ending the shift in accordance with the companies training and procedures
Ensure that a tool handover list is completed before the end of each shift
Responsible for technical and non-technical assistance to the call-centre
Responsible for all parts, tools, materials and equipment with-in the service vehicle
Responsible for vehicle diagnoses and repair
