TOBACCO STORE SALES ASSISTANTS REQUIRED – CENTURY CITY

My Client is a specialist in the Tobacco Retail industry and is looking for amazing talent in the sales field!

Duties of the Sales Assistant will include the following:

Opening and closing the store – key holder

Housekeeping and filling shelves, restocking shelves, pricing stock

Special care of cigars and cigarettes

Daily cycle and stock counts

Merchandising and displays of shelves and promotions

Doing basic repair of products - lighters and Electronic cigarettes

Receiving, unpacking, pricing and displaying stock

Approaching customers, assisting customers with purchase, processing sale

Meeting Sales targets

Handling customer queries face to face or telephonically

Handing refunds, exchanges and customer complaints

Cashing up at end of shift and banking procedures

Attend training and train new staff

Requirements:

Age: 22 - 35 yrs preferably

Matric certificate – with Mathematics as a subject!!

Fluent in English and Afrikaans

4 years experience selling products to clients face to face.

Excellent customer service skills and confident

Computer literate with POS experience: processing cash, credit and debit card sales, cashing up, stock counts, email, GRVs

Need to be available to work retail shifts, weekends, public holidays (9am -9pm).

Extended trading hours over December period

A people’s person and feel comfortable interacting with customers

Creative with selling techniques

Motivated to meet sales targets, sense of humour, with great communication skills/well spoken

Pay attention to detail, neat, well groomed and accurate

Safety and security conscious

Must have own reliable transport or use public transport

Proven track record and contactable references



Willing to learn a lot of Product knowledge

Previous experience with Tobacco and Vape products will be an advantage
