Our client, A Global leader in the distribution of electrical, electronic, mechanical & industrial products are looking for an Export Sales & Operational Manager.



Report into: Sales & Customer Experience Director

JOB PURPOSE

To seek out new large scale and transformational revenue opportunities for the company within Sub Saharan Africa and identifying potential in the Sub Saharan Africa export market for increased market share, while keeping the overall company strategy in mind.



Collaborating on designing individual country sales strategies and delivering such strategies. Lead, coordinate and deliver the design, implementation and operations for Export related solutions: focusing on compliance and customer experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Matric
Relevant 3 year tertiary qualification in business or related to technical innovation (Mechatronics, IOT, Research, Science, Electronics)
Relevant commercial and/or technical degree
Minimum 5 -10 years’ experience within an Export Sales Manager role is essential
Previous working experience within Sub Saharan Africa is essential
B2B sales experience, at least 2 years
Technical aptitude and/ or experience
Strong data analysis skills
Innovation and technology capable
Financial and commercial experience e.g. P&L accounts, contribution, costs and budgetary control
Broad based export background with experience of sales, operational and customer services
Capable of presenting at board level
IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft office (specifically MS Excel) and ideally SAP CRM
Strong influencing and negotiating skills
