Introduction
Alexander Forbes is looking for an Operational Consultant who will be responsible for drafting of Section 14 documents to comply with Directive 6, obtain signatures and submission to the FSCA and obtaining of their approval.
Description
Position requires an individual with a minimum Matric, good coordinating and administration skills. Client serving persona with good communication skills.

Staff:

Sharing of knowledge (where applicable)

Support Team Leaders with above when required

Ensure HR processes are followed (leave, absenteeism etc)

Client Service:

Plan own activities to ensure effective and efficient service delivery, draft and submit Section 14 documents - form A, B, C, D and E to the FSCA within 180 days.
Respond to FSCA queries and ensure prompt receipt of their approval.
Ensure Section 14 is processed effectively and efficiently to ensure timeous and accurate submissions
Ensure implementation of procedures and all risk processes in line with agreed procedures
Comply with PO and legislative requirements
Ensure adequate feedback is provided to facilitate reporting
Analysis of own stats to identify concerns, corrective measures, progress, etc.
Providing feedback of status of all applicable workflows
Communicate with internal/external parties to ensure timeous and accurate service delivery
Ensure action to avoid potential late submissions and submission of extension requests
Liaison with FSCA in terms of requirements and reporting
Provide feedback to management, as appropriate

Technical and behavioral competencies:

Technical:

Khanya and Alex system knowledge - not a requirement but an advantage if you do have this experience
Tracker system knowledge
Strong knowledge of Client service
Computer literate(Outlook, excel advanced, word)
Industry knowledge and experience ( Pension Funds Act (Directive 6) and other, Popi, etc)

Profile
Minimum 1 to 3 year Industry related experience
Strong knowledge of Client service

Minimum of grade 12 (Matric)
Industry related technical experience
