Job description
To research the Companies allocated for entry to the awards by cold calling; obtaining the required company information; and completing the required entry form and motivation documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes but not limited to:
Use the database supplied to contact clients
Identify key stakeholders to nominate for entry into specific categories where they would qualify (i.e. new companies, individual candidates etc.)
Telephonically initiate (and maintain) relationships with entrants. This includes follow up calls to clients (call times to be monitored)
Research potential candidates and organisations daily
Ensure that the database and activity report is updated on our live system
Update and input data into CRM
A standard process must be complied with, in order for the entrant to be qualified and approved:
All companies who are submitted for entry, must be qualified according to criteria

All documentation, database inputs, CRM inputs, entry forms and motivations, to be neatly completed and eligible
Once the company has entered, the company must be submitted to the Head of the Department for approval (daily)
Once qualified and approved, the remaining information must be gathered, completed and updated on the systems by the given deadline date
Communicate and report daily to Events and Marketing regarding completed entries
Correlate all data to be prepared for the internal auditing committee, prior to judging
During the internal auditing process, ensure that all entrants receive the opportunity to supply any outstanding data and any additional information required to give full and high quality submission
Submit all completed entrants for external judging
Communicate and send letters of success or unsuccessful letters to all entrants
Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Events to ensure entrants are present at events to accept awards
Targets
10 qualified entrants per day
Minimum of two hours per day
In order to achieve your daily / weekly / monthly targets, you are responsible for your daily planning
Only entries that qualify, are approved and accurately completed are taken into account as a number achieved towards you required target
Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted

Requirements
Matric
Relevant tertiary qualification
A background or experience in sales would be advantageous
Computer Literate (i.e. MS Word / Excel etc.)
Excellent telephone etiquette
Excellent administrative and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent written skills
Good time management skills
