PURPOSE STATEMENT

Multi Skilled Employee to work as Cashier at Box Office Sales/Catering Sales or Pick-Up, Cinema Assistant, Waiter, or any other cinema function as requested by a superior.

To ensure service excellence through great hospitality, speed and accuracy whilst upselling to achieve targets set by management.

Focus on exceptional customer experience, while maintaining operational efficiencies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

Matric (Grade 12)
Post matric qualification (Advantageous)

Systems

MS Office Suite (Basic)
Vista and SAP (Advantageous)

Working Experience

1 -2 years’ work experience (relevant)

TASK

MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General Sales

Drive operational KPIs in accordance to targets set
Sales – Food and Beverages, with focus on CPP targets
Maintain an up to date knowledge of products offered by Ster-Kinekor as well as promotional / marketing activities to enable to upsell

Product Knowledge and Management

Ensure validity of all vouchers received.
Monitor and report on any damages to administration stock (3D glasses, SK Club stock, F&B Stock, promotional stock, etc.)
Ensure and assist in tidiness of all stockrooms, and that stock levels are optimal to forecasted business
Ensure that all tickets are scanned prior to customers entering the cinema
Assist in ensuring that all equipment is working as per operational standard

Marketing and Visual Merchandising

Adhere to basic visual merchandising standards

Ensure presentation standards are adhered to (age restrictions displayed, synopsis file updated, posters neat and updated, F&B and Product displays, disclaimers updated and visible)

Assist in set up and preparation for special screenings
Implement marketing and promotional material and initiatives according to plan.

Food Preparation

Use knowledge of SKT product and promotional material to ensure correct preparation at all times
Prepare Popcorn, Slush, etc. according to quality standards set and inform on all deviations on quality standards
Ensure that all food prepared adheres to standards in place and has not expired

OHASA standards

Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, all kitchen equipment and surrounding areas, including counter areas
Ensure that storerooms are within standards set, and fumigation takes place when required
Ensure prepared products are properly sealed, packaged and stored
Ensure that all H&S reports are submitted according to the required schedules
Assist in ensuring that all emergency exits are at the required standards
Ensure that the correct uniform and preparation standards are adhered to at all times to ensure your safety and that of others around you

Customer Experience

Assist in shift preparation in area where required
Ensure that all services rendered and customer interactions put the customer first
Be visible to assist the customer at all times
Ensure speed of service by meeting transaction and queue time targets
Promote the use of self-service terminals
Be knowledgeable about all SKT product to be able to assist with all customer queries
Assist customers with seating where required
Manage the quality and integrity of Ster-Kinekor products to ensure that customer experience is not compromised
Ensure cinema readiness prior to allowing entry into cinemas
Enforce company policies in a firm but courteous manner (age restrictions, food policy)
Engage with customers as they exit the cinema in order to get feedback on their experience and invite them back.
