This Role will be accountable for the successful output of the following performance areas:

Main Activities:

· Dealing with both inbound and outbound calls

· Maintain a pro-active approach, mitigating fraudulent activity at source

· Ensuring operational risk/loss is mitigated and negative client impact and experience is kept to a minimum

· To assist in fraud prevention and detection in our organizations

· Candidate should be proficient in the evaluation and assessment of fraud risk to help mitigate loss in the organization

 

 
KEY COMPETENCIES

Knowledge, Skills and aptitude:

· The preferred candidate should have high attention to detail

· Must have excellent communication skills

· Proficiency in English and one or more local languages are necessary

· Written as well as spoken communication should be fluent

· Must have an analytical mind and be able to analyze evidences and clues correctly so as to solve the fraud case

· Good observation and listening skills

· Applicant must indicate on application if they have a criminal record

· Applicant will be subjected to security checks and competency assessments

· Proven ability to work in a detail orientated fast-paced environment

Technical and Functional Knowledge and Skills:

· Strong problem solving and negotiation skills

· Strong communication (both verbal and written) in English and 1 other indigenous language as well as customer service skills

· Ability to work in a highly competitive and dynamic environment

· Must be numeracy literate and have strong attention to detail

· Computer literate; Must be efficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and Internet

· Available to work flexible hours; weekends and Public Holidays on shift rotation

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

· Must have a Senior Certificate – Grade 12

· Must have at least 12 months experience in the call centre environment

· Must have a clear criminal and ITC record

· Previous Fraud experience will be advantageous
