Job Description
A leading car rental company is offering a junior leadership position within the dynamic tourism industry. Europcar is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals for the position of Flow Supervisor to join their team based at the Jet Park Depot in Kempton Park.

Position Overview
The purpose of the position is to act as supervisor of the depot operation, inclusive of fleet management (demand), fleet quality management, outsource cost management and productivity management.

Specific Role Responsibilities
Job Outputs
• Productivity – Forecast and ordering of outsourced labour requirement.
• Vehicle allocation and optimization by pro-actively prioritizing the cleaning of fleet running on high utilization and communicating shortages to the relevant staff in Procurement.
• Managing depot flow and space utilization.
• Promoting a clean and tidy depot environment.
• Managing labour allocation in terms of reservation demand versus termination demand.
• Constant communication between depot and branches.
• Managing damage discrepancies and processing of claims related to these damages.
• Communication with relevant branches and suppliers regarding quality and cosmetic related claims.
• Ensuring depot processes followed.
• Assisting Depot manager in his/her role related to but not limited to
• Audits
• Fuel reconciliation, ordering and managing of discrepancies
• Equipment and maintenance related responsibilities
• Security
• Health and Safety
• Water usage and electricity usage management
• Any technical issues


Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Experience
• 1 year supervisory/team lead experience within a similar environment.

Preferred Experience
• 1 year supervisory/ team lead experience within in car rental industry.

Minimum Qualification
• Grade 12/NQF level 4

Minimum Requirements
• Valid unendorsed driver’s license
• Computer literacy
• Working knowledge of Basic Conditions of Employment (BCEA)
