Responsibility
Issue product to Paintline and documented with the highest degree of accuracy

Responsibilities:
Safety – Forklift and all equipment within the operations to be used / operated safely and high care at all times.
Product issuing – Will be required to issue Product to Paintline and documented with the highest degree of accuracy – Zero error.Ensure that FIFO (First in First Out) system is employed at all times.
Ensure that you plan ahead using the Schedule and that the right Product is picked and moved to either Prime or Finish Coaters.
Product stirring/Mixing – Will stir product adequately before use at all times.
Manage expired stocks on shelves-Stir product, sample and submit.
Ensure Housekeeping and safe work practices are adhered to at all times.
Constant communication to Akzonobel’s Operations Superintendent/Akzonobel’s personel regarding all activities at the Paintline.

Give a brief monthly report (summary) of activities and any outstanding work requests logged in for the month that is still outstanding.
Ensure that Forklifts are maintained in good working order and looked after.
Ensure that daily checks on Forklift are done and documented.
Reporting of unsafe conditions and equipment to the maintenance foreman or Engineer and keep a record of such occurrences with log numbers etc.
Will be responsible for housekeeping at warehouse.
Forklift use or operating will form part of the daily work
