A cellular solutions provider is looking to fill this key position in its Finance team. The successful candidate will be working as part of a highly skilled and dynamic company that builds and supports applications in a technically exciting and challenging industry. This appointment will align with Employment Equity requirements.
Preparation of monthly management accounts to Exco and Group
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes
Preparation of internal management reports
Process improvement and management of internal controls
Assisting with production of statutory accounts
Co-lead the external and internal audit process
Mentoring, reviewing and supervising a small accounts team
Assist with group and board level tasks
Education & Qualification

CA(SA)
Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 2-3 years post article experience in management and financial reporting
Advanced knowledge of Sage Pastel Accounting and Payroll packages
Strong knowledge off Microsoft packages, especially Excel
IFRS knowledge and application essential
Strong accounting and tax technician
Competencies

Good communication skills
Able to use initiative, show innovation and suggest ideas
Good interpersonal skills and a team player
A positive attitude with good organizational skills
Must be willing to go the extra mile plus work over-time if need arises
