DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Title: Export Administrator

Reports to: Customer Service Manager
Primary purpose(s) of position:
Administer export shipments from order to arrival at destination.

Responsibilities:
Administration
Process enquiries and firm orders.
Follow up on stock availability on firm orders, liaise with client to pack their orders according to stock availability.
Instruct warehouse to pack.
Invoice orders.
Do customs documents, type packing list / framing entries.
Verification / compilation of export documentation.
Dispatch orders to forwarder. (local logistic companiesβ liaison).
Follow up with forwarder and inform client of dispatching details.
Reconciling and preparing payment for freight companies.
Covering export support relationship with customers, banks, DTI, etc.
Understand cross border procedures and Inco-terms.
Order recons / filing.
New VAT Act.
Direct shipments to Turkey and Kontich and keep up to date with export charges in export field.
Liaise with contemporaries in Belgium regarding direct shipments.
Do customer backorders with every order received.
General
You undertake to obey, comply and carry out all lawful and reasonable duties and instructions, as from time to time assigned to you by your supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
Job requirements and skills:
MS Office
SAP knowledge is an asset
Knowledge of Incoterms is an asset
Education:
Minimum/Essential: Bachelor degree or equal through experience
Desirable: Bachelor degree
Experience:
Minimum/Essential: 1-2 years experience in a commercial environment
Desirable: 3 years experience in commercial international environment
