Electronic Music Booking Agent/Assistant/Admin

JET BLACK is currently recruiting for an extremely organised and creatively-minded Assistant and Booking Agent, who will be a key part of our team who looks after a roster of internationally successful DJs and Electronic Music Artists.

You will support the managers and artists in all areas of their work and careers.

While this is a junior role and much training will be given, it is a demanding position for a candidate that wants to grow in the ever evolving music industry.

Requirements:

Dedicated, organised and admin orientated
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent time management
Efficient and clear communication skills
Availability outside of office hours
Knowledge or wanting in electronic music

Bonus: able to speak an African language
Duties:

Administration
Creating pitches for artists and tours
Finding new venues/promoters and maintaining relationships with current ones
Processing all booking requests
Managing bookings and all technical and travel logistics
Updating website
Invoicing and making payments
Bookkeeping
Daily Blogging
Creating a monthly mailer
Weekly reports
Diary and calendar management
Assisting with planning and co-ordination of PR and promotional activities
Assisting at live events, when needed
Assisting with record labels, publishing companies, collection societies and royalty collections
Assisting in album and release campaign planning with record labels and PR agencies
Managing and solving last minute problems
Skills (not all essential, but helpful):

Excel (essential)
Mailchimp
Basic design/canva
Copywriting
Gigwell (booking software will be given training)
Wordpress
Google Drive: Docs, calendar etc.
Social media

Please note that this position is suited for someone who is passionate about the music industry, and not suited for someone looking for an admin position only.
