Our client in the Pinetown area is recruiting for a Customer Services Specialist, to be responsible for both the customer service and IDT function.
The Customer care responsibilities include resolving customer queries, complaints, credit requests and backorders.
The incumbent will be responsible for efficient, effective and accurate receipt and transcription of emailed, online, faxed, telephonic and other orders from customers.
In addition, the incumbent is responsible for regular courtesy and follow up customer contact calls, to maintain service relationships and provide telephonic sales service.
Must be prepared to assist with claims, filing and other services administration assistance required from time to time.
The IDT function ensures the planning and supply of finished goods stock to regional depots, and thus the incumbent is responsible for but not restricted to, the monitoring and recommendation of changes to:
Lead times to supply customers, depots and agents;
Transportation routes,
Depot safety stocks.
A minimum of a matric certificate, together with 4 yearsβ experience in a Customer Care or a Warehousing & despatching operation,
Computer Literate, highly numerate, proficiency in SAP (advantageous),
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
