What is this job about?

The Customer Support team is responsible for every aspect of the Yumbiโ€™s interactions with merchants, channel partners and users. This means making sure that we keep our merchants happy and our channel partners productive, by providing exceptional technical training, assistance in the installation, setup and maintenance of the Yumbi platform as well as user support.

The Customer Support team is responsible for the printers used in our restaurants, online menus displayed on our websites and used by our call centers, creating and managing delivery zones and a range of other technical support issues. The Customer Support team may also aid the marketing/sales function from a strategic point of view, identifying new merchants and researching their value as potential partners.

Working in Customer Support is the perfect for anyone who has previous customer support experience in a technical environment and who is looking to get exposure to operations management, technical support or product development.

Requirements

Matric
Relevant degree or diploma
2 -3 years experience in a technology-based customer service environment
Able to work alone or as part of a team
Able to learn new methods and technologies and get up-to-speed quickly
Attention to detail
Customer service orientation - good communication and problem solving abilities
Excellent English (written and spoken) necessary, excellent Afrikaans (written and spoken) is an advantage
Tech savvy, including MS Office suite, Windows and internet applications
Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
Able to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
Reliable transport
Ethical and honest
