The Customer Service Agent will have the following key responsibilities:
Handle all client inquiries received via phone, fax or email.
Provide all quotations via phone, fax and email.
Receive bookings via phone, email & Customer Resource Centre (CRC) and update in the system.
Monitor and track ongoing shipments.
Keep clients fully updated as to the status of their shipments, especially in regards to any delays.
Action and respond to all notes sent to individual system sign on.
Cold Chain Management Specific Tasks
Determine which shipping system should be used for any given cold chain shipment.
Enter clear pick up and special delivery instructions advising both origination and destination office on how the cold chain shipment should be managed.
Communicate any temperature results to the client as soon as the delivery has taken place after reviewing the results to check any deviations
The successful candidate will have:
3-5 years experience within Customer Services
Experience in the logistics industry, preferably in specialty and/or healthcare industry.
Experience with client liaison.
Ability to learn and apply procedures and instructions.
Ability to take on projects at the request of management.
Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
Good computer skills.
Flexible attitude for working shifts and last minute coverage.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
