Job Description
The successful incumbent will be responsible to receive cash from drivers and to make up bank, ensuring that it balances daily. Expected to make operational decisions that fall within the ambit of responsibility.


Minimum Requirements
• Matric

• Minimum of 2 years cashier/banking experience as well as general office experience.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

CASH DEPOSIT
• Receive all cash deposits from drivers
• Make up bank.
• Count cash received from drivers and balance with deposit slip
• Record cash and cheques in cash up summary.
• Prepare deposit for bank
• Record seal numbers in register

Security
• Keep the cash office door locked always
• No unauthorized person allowed
• Lock cash in safe overnight
• Previous days taking to be removed from premises by 11:00 am next day.
