Job Purpose
The aim of the Department of Transport and Public Works, Western Cape Government is to employ and develop a competent individual to provide administrative support day to day maintenance of Western Cape Government buildings and report to line management. This position is based in Cape Town.

Minimum RequirementsGrade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification).
Recommendation
Proven knowledge and relevant experience in the I.M.S (Issue Management System).
Key Performance Areas
Effective and efficiently record all complaints received on I.M.S; Ensure authenticity of complaints and assign correctly on the I.M.S; Render professional correspondence service to clients and provide referencing; Compile reports of issue management system for the multi-disciplinary teams; Handle all administrative functions related to the post.
Competencies
Ability to classify the building maintenance complaints per class of works; Ability to manage complaints of various client departments; Proven computer literacy; Communication (written and verbal) skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape; Technical ability to distinguish between different trades; Ability to register and assign complaints on the I.M.S.
Remuneration
R 163 563 per annum (Salary Level 5)
