Responsibilities:

Implementing the order transaction process to ensure the lowest total cost to company for the procurement of goods and services
Managing the suppliers against Service Level Agreements.
Verification of correct order authorisation.
Price enquiries and tenders.
Participation in regular site meetings for the prevention of stoppages, as well as providing input to resolve problems in other areas of construction.
Manage reporting; i.e. reports, presentations.
Requirements:

Technical tertiary qualification preferable
Industrial buying (preferably at a senior level) for at least 5 years.
Knowledge of ender processes.
Contract negotiation knowledge with a track record of supply agreement success.

Supply planning experience advantageous.
Must have knowledge of import documentation
Must know legal requirements for hazardous chemical transport
