ADMINISTRATOR SALES PLANNING MERCEDES-BENZ CARS (MBC)

Description
Job Overview:

To ensure efficient and effective sales planning for the respective MBX- SA products and vehicle markets in which MBX-SA competes in compliance to the Company's Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E.Q requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E.Q tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Short/Mid-term/Long-term Volume Planning: Support sales planning specialist in designing, maintaining and refining volume plans and forecasts for integration into corporate business plans (FRM meetings, KUFRI, Operative/target agreement planning, strategic planning) based on corporate targets, actual results, future production, market conditions and sales rates. Liaise with HQ on a regular basis.
Operative Planning/MAD with DAG: Conduct market and segment analysis and submit long-term product forecast for brands. Analyse and submit industry trends information (including competitive set analysis) to the central planning and sales departments (also on an ad-hoc basis).
Stock Planning & management: Actively support sales planning specialist in defining stock quota for ordering together with Product Management. Regular analyse stock holding and targets. Run product mix meeting and agree with Sales managers on product mix for the specific production period. Create order sheets which have to be approved and handed over to supply chain timeously. Timeous stock allocation to agents in the Agent Model.
Tools/ Systems: Support sales planning specialist in maintaining and developing automated tools (including "what if/simulation" tools for sales/stock forecasting), systems and records to be manage and integrate highly accurate, complex and time sensitive plans and reports. Maintain thorough filing for all aspects of MBSA MBC volume planning.
Adhoc Projects and Presentations: Effectively support lines of business and management by completing projects within agreed scope and timelines. Preparation of Dealer reporting and Sales planning topics including dealer reviews, targets, profiles, stock, FRM, NDF, etc. as well as any ad-hoc requests.

System knowledge: e.g. SAP, MS Office (MS Excel: Advanced), Think Cell, GO, AIDA
Analytical


Experience:
1-3 years’ experience in specialised field (Automotive Retail Sales)
Sales Administration



Qualifications
Education:
Matric (Grade 12)
Sales & Marketing or Business related Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5)
Diploma/Degree (added advantage)
