MAIN PURPOSE**
To provide a superior customer service by ensuring customer needs are met on time.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**
Ensure all orders are processed accurately on the day received
Maintain customer service On Time Delivery of 95% or above
Weekly feedback to customers on their Open Order Report
Ensure Open Order dates are maintained as per product availability / expectancy
Address credit notes within 48hrs in line with Company policy and advise customer accordingly
Effective use of Company toolbox to offer alternative products to customers in instances of no stock availability
Continuous collaboration with the Distribution Centre to ensure customer orders are delivered timeously.*
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring that all orders are entered into the system accurately with reference to paint and pack codes and realistic promised dates.
Acknowledgement of receipt of order by fax or e-mail and giving expected dates to meet customer needs.
Offering substitute parts when necessary or obtaining stock from other warehouse locations to meet customer needs.

Liaison with supply chain or logistics departments regarding availability and expected in plant dates to meet customer needs. This applies to both local and import products.
The Customer Service Representative also communicates delivery problems timeously to customers and when necessary to Divisional Managers.
Communication of open order status to customers for reconciliation and to external / internal stakeholders on matters related to meeting customer needs on time.
Adhere to recovery strategy where customers’ needs have not been met.
Departmental procedures for Reporting, GRA, PNC, IBT, credit notes and debit notes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12
Minimum 2-5 years in Customer Service
Computer Literacy on Oracle R12 and Windows
Strong Communication skills (written & verbal)
Good accuracy and attention to detail
Able to multi-task and work under pressure
Customer focused*
