Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator
Position location: Meyersdal, South Africa
Business unit: Emerging Markets (EMMA)
Reports to: Supply Chain Manager
Primary Function: The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for smooth operation of the import, export and order placement processes. They will perform office administration duties as well as offer basic accounting support to the finance department.
Supervision: N/A
Key Deliverables
Processes purchase orders in line with approved order schedule
Maintains incoming shipment records and outgoing sales export files
Validates invoices and confirms goods delivery to internal parties prior to upload in the payment system
Oversees the clearing process operated by the clearing agent
Verifies and processes intercompany invoices
Collects, maintains and provides supporting documentation to the relevant bank to facilitate payment
Collects and maintains compliance documents in the setup of new vendors

Documents and improves local accounts payables process steps
Updates supply and demand planning database and supply chain dashboard KPA/KPI analysis tools
Supports internal and external audit processes
Procures and regulates use of office supplies (consumables and stationery)
Maintains general reference file for all required statutory and compliance documents
Offers front office support by answering and directing telephone calls and receiving company guests
Participates in safety initiatives and offers suggestions to improve office safety.

Qualification, Knowledge and
Skill Requirements

A diploma in business administration or equivalent
Knowledge of applicable import/export procedures and documentation
Three to four years work experience in supply chain processes
Ease of working with numbers
Customer focus
