Our Store Managers motivate their teams and help to ensure that our stores are both profitable and create a great place to work and shop.
MAIN JOB FUNCTION
Dion Wired management assumes responsibility for ensuring customer service, leading/managing employees, enforcing company regulations, taking care of various administrative tasks and store sales/profitability. Individuals in managerial careers schedule employees, delegate daily assignments, implement promotional campaigns, track inventories, analyze and report sales data, and coordinate merchandise management. Managers also carry out disciplinary actions when necessary and serve as primary enforcers of loss prevention tactics
People & Service:
1. Drive a Customer-Centric culture.
2. Execute our leadership values through daily job functions.
4. Ensure the teams are fully trained, competent in customer service & product knowledge so as to project a competent, efficient & customer orientated image.
Sales:
1. Achieve monthly turnover expense & NIBT targets.
2. Maintain controllable expenses.
3. Manage Shrink and ensure that relevant audits are actioned timeously & corrective action taken for any short comings
Stock & Merchandise:
1. Ensure stockholding levels are in line with merchandising plans & with sales performance.
2. Merchandise management - Ensure the store is holding the full range of applicable. Merchandise through maintaining good relationships with suppliers, Head Office, buyers & planners.
3. Ensure that the store is geared to implement promotions effectively.
Administration & Compliance
1. Ensure that all Company policies are adhered too.
2. Ensure that all security systems are implemented & efficiently maintained.
3. Manage training/HR/IR issues
Educational Requirements
Matric
Relevant degree or diploma advantageous
Work and Training experience
At least 5 years related management experience in a large FMCG/Retail environment
Experience of managing teams and working with diverse cultures
