Hello… an exciting new opportunity has just become available in our Insure, Operations: Motor Claims area. We are looking to recruit a Stolen and Recovered Vehicles Consultant

Role Objectives:

This role will be responsible for the identification and upliftment of Stolen and Recovered vehicles within the Motor Claims department.


Key Responsibilities:

Identification of stolen/tampered vehicles.

Check and confirm vehicle recovery and movement across all systems.

Check and confirm possible vehicle recovery with information received from the industry.

Confirm vehicle recovery notifications.

Liaison officer between Hollard, SA Police Service, upliftment agents and The Insurance Crime Bureau.

Coordinate the upliftment of stolen and recovered vehicles.

Instruct agents to uplift vehicles.

Supply the Police and agents with the required documents to uplift vehicles.

Identification of vehicles at Police Pounds

Authorise and submit upliftment agent invoices for payment.

Confirm and meet the requirements for disposal of salvage vehicles.

Stock in bond management.

Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

At least seven years’ experience within insurance claims, salvage and stolen vehicle recovery.

At least five years’ experience and understanding of processes at licensing departments

Experience and thorough knowledge in the identification and upliftment of stolen/tampered vehicles

Educational Requirements:

Matric

Appropriate Insurance qualification
